DRESS LOUD (Weekender Brands Limited) ships orders within the United Kingdom only. This policy explains how orders are produced, fulfilled, and delivered, including different handling for stock fancy dress items and personalised print-on-demand products.

1. Shipping Coverage

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom, including mainland England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

We do not deliver to:

  • Republic of Ireland
  • Channel Islands
  • P.O. Boxes
  • BFPO addresses
  • International addresses

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery postcode, product type (stock vs. personalised), and selected delivery speed. All applicable charges are shown before payment.


2. Personalised Items (Print-on-Demand)

All personalised items (custom t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts with names, slogans, or images) are printed to order by our UK fulfilment partner.

Delivery cost: £3.99 UNDER £25 - FREE OVER £25 on all personalised items.


3. Fancy Dress Stock Items

Fancy dress costumes, wigs, and accessories are dispatched from our wholesale partner's UK warehouse. Typically dispatched within 0-2 working days (Monday to Friday).

Standard Delivery (2-Day):

  • Orders under £25: £3.99
  • Orders over £25: FREE

Next Day Delivery (order by 2pm Mon-Fri):

  • Orders under £25: £4.99
  • Orders over £25: £2.99

UPS Next Day Tracked & Signed:

  • Orders under £25: £6.99
  • Orders over £25: £4.99

4. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Exceptions

Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands/Islands: Delivered via Royal Mail, typically 4-5 working days. Standard rate £3.99 (free over £25). Next Day and UPS services are not available to these locations.

Some courier services may deliver on Saturdays. No deliveries occur on UK bank holidays. All delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.


5. Mixed Orders

If your order contains both personalised items and fancy dress stock items, they may arrive in separate deliveries from different fulfilment partners. You will receive tracking information for each shipment separately.

Shipping charges are calculated per fulfilment type at checkout:

  • Personalised items: always ship free
  • Fancy dress items: charged based on the fancy dress portion of your order value

6. Fulfilment Methods

DRESS LOUD uses multiple fulfilment partners depending on the product ordered:

  • Personalised items: produced and shipped by our print-on-demand partner (Gelato) once your order is placed
  • Fancy dress stock items: fulfilled by our wholesale partner (Smiffys) from their UK warehouse, dispatched via Royal Mail, Amazon Logistics, DPD, or UPS depending on the service selected

Regardless of which fulfilment partner dispatches your order, DRESS LOUD (Weekender Brands Limited) remains the merchant of record and is solely responsible for customer service, returns, and refunds. Your contract is with us, not our fulfilment partners.


7. Event Order Deadlines

Attending a Butlin's Big Weekender or other event? We display order cut-off dates on every event collection page so you know exactly when to order by.

Fancy dress (stock costumes, accessories) 3 working days before the event (Mon-Fri)

If you have missed the personalised item deadline, you may still be able to order fancy dress stock items with next day delivery. Check the event page for live countdown timers.


8. Order Processing & Cut-Off Times

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

  • Personalised items: orders placed after 5pm count as the next working day
  • Fancy dress (next day delivery): order by 2pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday ship on Monday
  • Fancy dress (standard delivery): typically dispatched within 0-2 working days

During peak event periods (e.g. weeks before major Butlin's weekenders), processing times may be slightly extended. We will notify you if your order is affected.


9. Tracking

You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships. Tracking links may take up to 24 hours to become active after dispatch.

  • Personalised items: tracked via the Gelato fulfilment network
  • Fancy dress items: tracked via the carrier selected at checkout (Royal Mail, Amazon Logistics, DPD, or UPS)

If your tracking has not updated within 48 hours of dispatch, contact us and we will investigate.


10. Address Accuracy

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate when placing your order. We cannot be held responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts:

  • We will contact you to arrange re-delivery (additional shipping charges may apply)
  • Alternatively, we will issue a refund minus the original outbound delivery cost

11. Delays, Missing, or Damaged Deliveries

  • Not arrived within expected timeframe: contact us with your order number and we will trace the shipment with the carrier
  • Not arrived after 7 working days from dispatch: contact us immediately so we can open an investigation and arrange a replacement or refund
  • Arrived damaged or incorrect: take photographs and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you

We are not responsible for delays caused by severe weather, strikes, carrier disruptions, or events outside our reasonable control. Where such delays affect your order, we will keep you informed and offer a cancellation and full refund if the delay is significant.
