The Vegas Stag
Playbook
Most Vegas stags run 4 nights (arrive Thursday, leave Monday). The schedule that survives.
🌵 Day 1 (Thursday) — Arrive + Casino
Land, check in, eat something solid. First-night casino at the hotel — easy, low-stakes, gets the squad on the same time zone. Don't go hard tonight; you've got 3 more nights.
🏊 Day 2 (Friday) — Pool Party
Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic, Liquid (Aria), Marquee (Cosmopolitan). Day club starts at noon, runs until 6pm. Pre-book a cabana for groups of 8+ (£800–£2000 cabana = £100–£250 pp). Nap 6–9pm. Recover for the night.
🥃 Friday Night — XS / Hakkasan / Omnia
The premium Vegas nightclubs. Pre-book a table — walk-up entry for stag groups is unreliable. Tables £1500–£4000 split 8–10 ways. The groom's tee is the differentiator on the dance floor.
🥊 Day 3 (Saturday) — Activity Day
Top Golf at MGM, helicopter to Grand Canyon, gun range, fight night at T-Mobile Arena (book 4+ months ahead if a major card is on). Pick the activity that matches the groom's actual interests, not what TripAdvisor recommends.
🎰 Saturday Night — Fremont Detour
The one-night Fremont swap. Take an Uber, hit the Fremont Street Experience light show, find a divey country bar (Stoney's), drink cheaper, eat the world's largest hot dog. Back to the Strip by 3am.

How long should the stag actually be?
4 nights minimum (Thursday–Monday). 3 nights is too rushed once you account for the 9-hour transatlantic flight + jet lag. 5+ nights blows the budget. The 4-night format is the proven Vegas stag length.
When is the cheapest time to go?
Mid-January to mid-March (post-CES, pre-EDC) is the cheapest window for hotels and flights. Avoid: any UFC fight weekend, Super Bowl week, EDC (May), New Year. Those weeks see hotel prices triple.
Do we really need a club table?
For groups of 6+ on a weekend at XS / Hakkasan / Omnia — yes. Walk-up entry is heavily discretional and stag groups get rejected. A table guarantees entry, dedicated server, sectioned space. Cost £150–£400 pp split — comparable to UK premium club entry.
Can we wear our squad tees in the nightclubs?
Pool clubs: yes (it's the daytime, dress code is relaxed). Nightclubs: no (XS / Hakkasan / Omnia have a smart-casual minimum after 9pm). Wear the tee day + at the pool; swap to a smart shirt or polo for the club night.
What's the 30-day cancellation policy on hotel?
Most Vegas hotels offer fully refundable rates up to 72 hours before check-in if you book direct. Always book direct (Caesar's.com, MGM.com) rather than third-party booking sites — better rates, better cancellation, points eligible.
Should we order squad tees in the UK or in Vegas?
